Yes, you can request a supervisor during registration, or invite an existing supervisor to join the app.
Do I need a supervisor to practice medicine in my province?
It depends on your province’s regulations as well as your regulatory body or college ‘s supervision requirements. If required, RevDoc’s Provider app can help you connect with a supervisor.
Do I need my certification to see patients?
You must be licensed by your profession’s regulatory board in your province. During registration, please upload any relevant licenses, certificates, or credentials required for your services and scope of practice.
What type of providers can use the RevDoc App?
RevDoc supports a growing network of licensed healthcare professionals across a wide range of specialties and care types. We are continuously expanding the provider types supported on the platform. All providers must meet applicable licensing requirements and complete annual background checks and license verification. If you’re unsure whether your provider type or specialty is currently supported, please contact RevDoc directly for the most up-to-date information.
How long does it take to get verified and approved to begin seeing patients?
Once you complete registration and submit the background check fee, verification is typically completed within 72 hours. After clearance, your Provider Relations Manager (PRM) will finalize your approval so you can begin seeing patients.

How does RevDoc verify provider credentials and background information?
RevDoc partners with iProspect Check to verify provider identity, education, licensing, and professional standing. For Canadian providers, this may include photo ID verification, education and certification checks, provincial or territorial license verification, criminal background screening where applicable, and any additional regulatory checks required for the provider’s profession or scope of practice. All providers must successfully complete these checks before being approved to see patients through RevDoc.
How do I become a Provider on the RevDoc App?
You can access RevDoc from anywhere by visiting provider.revdoc.ca or through the mobile app. You will then need to register and complete the full registration process, submit the $110 background screening fee, and finish setting up your provider profile. Once your credentials and background check are verified (typically within 72 hours), you’ll be approved to begin seeing patients.
What if I already have an EMR / operating tool to manage my patients and practice?
RevDoc is non-exclusive, so you can continue using your existing EMR and practice management tools alongside the platform. However, patients acquired through RevDoc must continue to be managed and treated within the RevDoc platform and workflows.
Is my medical information stored securely in RevDoc?
RevDoc encrypts medical records at rest and in transit using AES-256 and TLS 1.2+. Access to medical records is restricted to authorized providers and staff only, and personal health information is handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.
Who can view my health records in RevDoc?
Only you and the care team members you've authorized can access your records. RevDoc maintains a full audit log of every view and edit, so you can always see who accessed your information and when.
